Also try putting u're phone next to u're computer monitor when u make a call or when it rings and u'll see how much interference there is!
I don't think that one person using a phone in a plane would do much harm, but when u have 20 ppl out of 200 in a plane using their phones then u have a problem!

Also you phone is booking in and out of networks as most planes fly about approx. 500 plus mph. Not to mention, how would like to be billed. Lufthansa will have GSM usage on their phones in the coming year. As usual the US will be about 5 years behind.
