Well I thought I'd try it on my P900 and it does work - useful too!
I cannot say what version the phone's operating system is - early I'd guess as I got it 2nd hand and it was well used then! If someone wants to know this then tell me how to find out!

@Silkwood from your app list select Edit>System Information. Find the last 5 digits of your organizer version. That should tell you what firmware version you have.
@irfan there is no way to have SEDT installed, but not active. Thats just the way it is. I find no reason not to have it running though.

Knight, The reason I asked was so I could occasionally have full view of my flip open images behind the big white "missed calls" box- I agree it is a nice app tho
if only u could disable it by choice it would be even better

Thanks, if I understand you correctly it is R3A06 - although where I can find out what that defines I don't know.
Unfortunately the SE Desktop has simply disappeared (or stopped displaying) on my P900. It reappeared after power off/on but went soon after!!
I'd expect it to appear in the list of applications but it is not there (or in the uninstall list). Weird?

I remember some P900 people having trouble with the wrong icon showing up.
Yes that was it. After a Text Message came in the messages icon replaced the SEDT icon. I'm talking about the application icons along the top (e.g. with flip open).
