@chazam, I will be making "local" calls most of the time. so that should be fine with me. And btw, how long does 5 credit last?
You'd be looking at about 30min worth of calls. You also get charged for checking voicemail as well. If you don't know anyone in the places you plan on visiting I wouldn't put more then an hours worth of minutes on the phone. Chances are you won't even use it. If you do simply have the other party ring you up so you don't get charged. I think the sims are cheap enough where it wouldn't hurt your pockets to simply get one from each visited country. Again, you'd be fine with about 30min worth of calls if all you're gonna do is be a tourist.
