I've had four handsets from Orange. I'm with Orange Direct (Internet) and have had no issues with swapping handsets, each time a brand new one fully boxed has arrived the next day.

Tech support do take ages though so all i have done is continually ring CS until they call Tech Support and hey presto i got answers.

Anyway to cut along story short i have got my 4th K750i, W21 build and have updated the firmware to R1L002 using the SE online update service.

I have a stable handset now - Thank God!!!

Evidently my letter did the trick - I just had a phone call from Orange to apologise and say that I'll be getting a new phone delivered tomorrow

Me and my misus got orange k750's on the same day - on orange. Last week. Mine has had endless freezings. Happens when the phone is left for quite a while so because i play with it alot this only happens overnight. Every monring i wake up - theres the clock but nothing can unfreeze the clock. Tried having no clock screensaver, reducing brightness etc.

Any way - upgraded the firmware to R1J002

Now i've gone 2 days without a freeze - YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps - i used SEUS

Out of interest, where does upgrading the firmware leave you if you have phone insurance?
Say I upgrade it then my phone breaks and I get a replacement will they take a look at the broken one and tell me I'm not actually covered because it doesn't have their firmware on?
