i woulda thought this was obvious... obviously the person has 2 talk and think about wat 2 say regardless of handsfree or not... only benefit is u get 2 hands vs 1

what really distracts the driver isn't the actual conversation, it is pushing buttons on the phone and looking at the screen. That means the most dangerous part of the call is when you dial a number or search through your phone book. Answering a call can also be dangerous if the headset doesn't have a button on it to answer/end the call.
Most people drive with one hand anyway if they have an automatic. In this case, holding a phone to your ear is no distraction whatsoever.
