Thats the problem with se not totally user friendly people with little know how on computers could create big problems. I have nokia and its memory card is MMC and you can reformat it anytime on your PC no need to think if its Fat32 or 16 or you yourself is FAT hehe

Hey Mo,
If the card is not recognized in the phone, try to get it 'cleaned' using a PC. Best option is indeed to find someone who has a cardreader that takes the Mstick, and just format it. It's the wrong format, but that's not an issue. Then, stick it back into the P910 and you should be able to access the format command for the card again.
Format it again, on your phone, and you should be ok.

Hope this is of use,
Good luck.

Mo, another thought (to save you from buying a cardreader):
Does a friend maybe have a Sony digital camera?
Stick your duo card in the MS adapter, and into the cam. Hook the cam up via the USB cable to your PC. Then format the stick that way (So no format from the cam, but format the [removable disk] that gets created when you hookup the cam to USB).

Just a thought.
Again, good luck.

@ dan

No man, i am not living in the States. I said my brother (not-blood related) lives there and he is sort of my "mail delivery guy".

I mean i pay the money and order a stuff and enter his shipping address while purchasing, and when he comes to my place (bangladesh) he just hands over them over to me. Got it?
