Well, my ThinkOutside keyboard arrived this morning ... and is indeed typing these very words

It does seem to be well thought out. It's possible to achieve awesome speeds with it!
The only slight area of concern I have is with the stand. This looks a little too flimsy for my liking. Also, it seems like the only way you can get the back of the stand to its uppermost position is by pulling quite hard on it to force the wire support over the two little plastic notches. I get the impression that it won't be long before the tops of these notches will have been worn away doing that. Any suggestions? Is there another way of getting the wire over the notches?
Finally, I notice that keyboard doesn't work well in FC mode on my P910i (not that I ever intend to use it like that). If you try to bring up application menus, the menus relating to the app in flip OPEN mode are displayed! (Note that the stand has to be detached from the keyboard if you have the flip attached to the phone and work in FO mode, otherwise the flip overlays some of the keys on the ThinkOutside unit.)
As I say, not really a prob for me, though there's a pic of a P900 in FC mode on the front of the packaging ironically.

I've also found that I can't maintain a connection to my HBH-600 headset whilst using the keyboard

IF however I connect the headset BEFORE activating the keyboard, I get one shot at either making or receiving a call before the connection is permanently lost.
Any thoughts? TIA.

I am not sure about Windoze PC's, but I know that I can have multiple connections with my Mac at the same time. I think it is more application dependent than device dependent. Some applications need the entire port and do not create virtual ports as to share.
An example: On my Mac, I have connected a BT Mouse, z800i, my wife's Nokia 6680, SE HBH-660, and am running three BT applications that are accessing the devices. This is a situation where the applications allow multiple connections on the serial port.
I hope this did not confuse you more.

One other practical point that may or may not be of relevance is that you can't have the charger lead plugged in to the phone whilst the phone is on the supplied stand; it's a physical impossibility. This could be an issue if, say, you're working on a document for hours at a stretch.
