NEED (if possible) QUICK ANSWER!!!

I first tried flashing the:

erom_cid36.bin

did flash all 4 blocks

Tried flashing main and fas: failed (block error)

Tried flashing:

erom_brn36.bin

didn't work: got block error at block 1 of 4

tried flashing main en fs again, and it did finish! main and fs are now flashed (did not mark the finalization)

Now when i boot the phone, i get the configuration error. I know this is supose to happen.

My question is now: Can i finalize now, or should i by worried that the
erom_brn36.bin is not flashed oke?

If oke, and i can finalize the phone, can i only mark the finalization, or shoot i flash main and fas again. Because when i only mark finalization, i get a warning that man and fs file are not selected, continue anayway?

Should i continue anyway?

And finally when the flash works, it works? or can i get faults halfway using the phone, for example mp3's not playing, or something unexpected?

PHONE is NOW fixed.... Flashed and all! Z800i, but more important it works!!!

can i use the USB cable which comes with the Z800 phone to use Davinci or the total multiserver to flash my phone with latest software or i need sepcial cables??

No you can not.

Must use special cable, like t28 service or original dss-25 sync station. But you should read other posts about this, it's written al lot, yes a lot of times..

Question:why do you want to flash your orginal z800 using davinci or multiserver??? If new software is available, u can update from sony ericsson using your usb cable. No need to buy anything!

Most people that flash here, own a v800 and flashed it to a z800!

I have a problem. When i flash my v800, cid 29 converted in cid36, with main and fs; the client1.4 show me “block not accepted error: 0x005556”.

same question here but i have the DSS-25...what else should i do to flash it to z800?is there any firmware available to do it and how?
