I like SE and nokia both. Before get my new P990 i used nokia 9300. Think that's good enough. specially the keyboard is very comfortable. I think that nokia is really understand how to make phone easy to understand and use even for dummies lol, but i also like SE cause they are full of feature and perfect workmanship. So which one is better, u should compare is basically in the price. With the same price what we could get from a phone... lol
if u wanna compare the processor you might wanna choose PDA phone there are alot of them now using 520Mhz...... lol

Whatever the story - note that NONE of the N95 "reviews" (aka marketing propaganda) so far have featured working GPS. Or Wi-fi for that matter.
Its not going to be that simple I think. N80 is a good lesson to think about.

N80 was the first S60 v3 powered cell. Furthermore, the N80 is just fine now, with the latest firmware upgrade (finaly). Actualy the 3250 was the very first s60 v3 (precedet the N80 by a few weeks), but only used certain V3 'features'. While the N95 does use the same OS, should'nt have stability problems because the kernal (os core routines) are prety stabble by now. Even the old N95 demo model did not hang up or anything like the original N80 did. The GPS is basicaly a program running on top of the OS from the N95's point of view (of course it has a hardware part too, but that's another matter.). If is not stable it can be 'tweaked'. No matter who says what, the n95 is a master piece of miniaturisation and about the best what human technology can produce in 2006AD. Aparently some of the multi layered PC-board imprinted conductors are thinner than the averige human hair. Certainly, it won't be anyone's device - but then again, I for one, like things out of ordinary :D

Oh please. It's a phone. Get over it!
I really have no idea what the fuss is about - aside from the GPS (which isn't exactly groundbreaking) I see nothing particularly clever or new about this handset. They've gone to all that trouble to put some music buttons on a hidden slidey bit, but there's no proper keyboard, no touhcscreen, not so much as a joystick to navigate - it really is just a toy.

Indeed for some is 'just a phone'. But do you have the slightest idea what it means to have all that RF going all directions with powers which differ by a factor of 90dB or 1 Billion times (yeah that's 1 followed by 9 zeros)! ! ! I am a qulified radio technician (thru the police) with papers and experience to show. Actually one does not need to know much about radios to realise what's 'behind the scene'. Go get a good old 2 way radio, hold it close to your tv-set and press the big buttonon on the left while facing it and check the tv. Or just hold the cellphone close to your car radio while using or receiving a sms. You know well that some cell companies (SE included) even today only manage with difficulty to have a quad band cell with GPRS,EDGE,3G and now 3,5G all in 120 odd grams device. Anyway I get the N95 to use it as a solid state handicam. Check on the net all day long and let me know if you find a similar featured handicam (size/portability)? I fly as a hobby and while GPS is a bonnus the miniature handicam is a must for me. The N95 will replace 3 devices ! Cam/handicam, GPS and my realtime online server (is using the S60 OS) to upload the data to the net while I fly. I will give you the URL and you are welcome to 'fly with me' in realtime/speed on google earth buddy

@koto & boinng
I'm absolutely in agreement with you on the business use of the P990 against the N95.
I looked at the N95 as a possible phone for my job, but came to the conclusion that it would be time-consuming to generate emails, edit docs on the fly with the Nokia.
Yeah, the GPS is a nice idea, but that seems to be about it. I guess if you are into taking photo's and video and want to know where you are when you take them then this is the phone for you!
I'll stick with my SE 990!

@andy8ball
A few minutes ago I finished a business task using my P990 and I am extremely pleased with it's performance. At my office I got a task to update our accounting polices particularly accounting standard 19. So with P990 I browsed the internet, downloaded some power point presentations, reviewed them and made notes in ms word. And during that I received and sent a few sms. The screen in landscape mode is brilliant and I were actually enjoying watching presentations and other activities. Stylus and querty are also of great, great help.

Hello I bought a N95 3 weeks ago but kept my P990i in case off. Good idea after 3 weeks the screen brook without i can remeber i gave im a shock, i suppose it must be the pressure in my pocket any way it is under repair, what is for sure is that the construction quality of the p990 is far better, after 3 weeks of use i have already some scratches on it while the p990 after one year has nothing in the same condition of use.
The capabilities of the n95 are superior and they are very few problem with the different software and functionalities, sometimes a 'out of memory' message but it is not so a surprise when one use so menay functionalities togheter, just have to keep in mind to shut the programs you are finished with. I use intinsively in my job the PIM functionalities and there I must say the p990 is better than the n95 when for example you have to key in a new appointment while talking to somebody or dial a phone number displayed in an appointment, with the p990 you just put the cursor on the phone number and you have the direct option to dial it, with the n95 you must take a piece of paper copy the number go to the telephone app and dial in. The full querty keyboard, the touchsreen and the stylus are really missing on the n95. Now that I am forced to go back to my p990 it is no doubt that it is a more professional device but the n95 is more fun and is at the top of the todays technology

@fredspa:
Sounds like you would need the Nokia E90. With it you could get rid of both your N95 and P990.
