@smilerthe cheshirecat

Just be happy that things went in your favour for once, at least you didn't buy an 8gb and receive a 4gb as that would of been a problem.

I was wondering this too. Also is it just me but how do i get bluetooth to work?I want to beem a picture to my imac but there isn't an option. You can assign to a contact, use as wallpaper and email but no bluetooth?

If you are using a Mac, why don't you just import the picture into iPhoto? The iPhone is made for the iLife software, I can't understand all these people with Mac's asking how to get photo's, contacts and appointments etc. Have you never looked at the software on your Mac? Don't mean to sound funny but there's so many Mac users asking the same questions!

I've posted in the mac help thread to see if Luke can help with the edge settings as i'm on o2 and would like to get it working.

@dicky you'll be well impressed, the touch screen is what gets me and how easy it is to use, just the whole interface is brilliant.

Depending on your tariff, one of these will work:

APN: mobile.o2.co.uk
Username: o2wap
Password: password

or

APN : web.02.co.uk
Username : faster
Password : web

Will these settings work with O2 payg and is it actual mobile web not wap?

I've always wanted to go with o2 but with them not allowing mobile web on payg...I've always stuck with orange.

Yeah i know i can use iphoto and i do but want i'm saying is sometimes it would be easier to you the BT function just to beam one photo quickly, but that isn't an option so i've done the other.

They are GPRS/EDGE Settings. The only thing that differentiates whether you see a wap page or a rich html web page is the web browser, the iPhone has the Safari web browser, arguably the best web browser going. So you get full HTML web pages.

ahh ok thanks...I didn't realise mobile web was possible on PAYG..I only thought it was available with a contract sim.

I remember trying ages ago and it wouldnt work no matter what i tried....that was with a HTC trinity ...through pocket IE.
