OLED screens are mostly a gimmick. They don't save THAT much battery and don't have THAT much better contrast than your top-of-the-line LCDs. Just look at SE's screens. None so far have even had 16 m colours, at that, but they've beaten Nokia screens in almost every department (bar size
).

I agree to the "better from Nokia screens" part...
But in Satio they reduce the battery capacity ... and use a more power-need screen tech (tft)
Just to remind you even a 3inches phone like X1 uses 1500mah (i know that wm6 need more power but n97 uses 1500mah too)
I am really curious about the stand by times though...

A small correction there Nighty... OLED's have more contrast ratio then LCD's and not necessarily more contrast... Blacker Blacks???
Anyways, have a look at this official pic:
It this image faulty or does Satio has Auto Rotate on both side ways???

OOohhh, auto rotate all the way round
The promo vid seems to be the only on that has the autorotate feature shown in it. We need more hands on. But everyone is hyped with the Palm Pre, N97, new iPhone etc..
The Satio is gonna give me EVERYTHING I want, full touch screen, great OS, supplied turn by turn Sat Nav (Hopefully Waypoint if nothing else) and an amazing camera in a small device, well compared to all the other smart phones it's small.
By the way, the Palm Pre has started to get some pre reviews and the keyboard isn't getting good marks. Not for me.

Only one person is saying it doesn't use an Exmoor sensor, seeing as Sony MAKE the sensor or it's their product according to google I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the Satio.

Sony do make a 12.1 sensor that will be out in q3 2009...
But doesn't says anything about the first mobile that will use it (probably a cyber-shot 12.1)
I forget to say that there are 2 plus more for Satio
-Unique design for a full-touchscreen that has an identity
-metal (i think) body...

Find O N E OFFICIAL article that says that IDOU has EXMOR sensor.... Please..............you love SE but you are not saving them by lying..........
EDIT AGAIN: Just thought I would add the post I am replying to
Exmor CMOS sensor developed and manufactured by Sony:
http://www.sony.net/Products/dslr/a700/features.html
It's for it's DSLR but Exmor would appear to be a SONY registered trademark AND product.
Edit:
Oh and of course we better not forget this:
http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/News/Press/200811/08-144E/index.html
So yeah, your saying that even though Sony has developed it's OWN Exmor branded and trademarked 12.25 mpx CMOS sensor for MOBILE PHONES it's NOT going to use it in it's OWN Sony Ericsson 12.1 mpx camera phone? Possible but lets be honest, considering the facts, highly doubtful.
So yes, just to clarify, Exmor is a SONY registered trademark and product.
