I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else, but I'm really missing the bluetooth remote control feature. I thought all SE phones had this, although I've only ever had a k750 and k850. Are there any decent replacements that don't require a server running on the pc?

is it the phone software.. or what.. ? should i take it back to the store??? need help.. plz
Try going to the Messaging window then if you see the inbox tab, enter it. Once you're in, you can choose to read the messages in the traditional inbox (default) or you can or switch to the conversations tab by pressing right. It's either the inbox or conversations, only one or the other. I prefer conversations since I write and receive lengthy messages which makes it easier to go back to the message I'm going to reply to. Hope this helps.

Do any of you think it has poor signal. Mine is terrible even in areas of strong coverage. I already had memory card and data cable though i dont use data cables much i find them slow
My Elm gets the same, if not better signal that my K530 gets. Have you tried using GSM only in your Mobile Networks under the Connectivity tab? Try switching between GSM only and GSM/3G and see if there's a difference.

The signal problem is the same on 3G & GSM. I live in high very strong coverage on every network in my area. Previous phones all have strong signal that barely fluctuates even downstairs but the Elm is terrible everywhere. It's the worst signal I ever had & it is alot to do with the antenna being in the bottom of the phone & perhaps firmware will fix this but who knows. I have used a Nokia phone since & the signal is solid everywhere even on T Mobile downstairs in my house so it is the Elm it's the main bad point of this phone & from experience it does affect call quality depending on which network you use. The GSM call quality on Vodafone or O2 being worse

That is weird indeed. Have you tried using the same simcard on a different phone in specific areas of your house right now?

Maybe you can borrow a friend's elm and check if the signal is still the same. Have you contacted Sony Ericsson about this? My signal is good everywhere else besides my room, all my phones have a hard time getting signal here anyways.

IT DOES NOT WORK
No I have had 2 Elm's & both the same. Like I said it's not the networks I have strong signal on all other phones on every network in my area but not with the Elm. So what does that tell you? The Elm signal is poo

Have you not read my previous posts? Read them please. I clearly stated that my Elm has poor signal on 3G and GSM. Every area everywhere i go. My area where i live has fantastic coverage on every network on 3G and GSM except Vodafone which have no 3G here. But using every network sim on the Elm signal is terrible compared to other phones. Often showing only one to two bars. On other phones in my house i have full coverage even downstairs. On the Elm i dont on either frequency.
