"Another thing that annoys me about this phone is that the silvery / grey colouring on the phone seems to rub off too easily, I have patches where it's missing and exposing the plastic underneath - this is just from a few months usage - not very good. " -> Same issue with me... I have now removed the keypad because I saw its silver painting was coming off (very small dots though).

So if the screen cracks, is it possible to just replace the front cover?. Anyone tried it?. I am ready to waste the remaining part of the frame because I think its a Risk to play around with the P900. ANyone just replaced the front cover?
No one answered this question of mine.

The frame on my P900 is beginning to break on the right hand side of the screen. I noticed a indentation last weekend, I'm a bit worried about it. This is the only phone I have so sending it back for repair is very inconvient - no one will be able to contact me whilst its away for repair ( I don't have a landline ).
My phone is only 4 or 5 months old and I ALWAYS place the flip down, not just let the springs do the job!!
Is there is a DIY fix - can you replace the frame yourself?

Erm yes you can replace the front yourself.
On pages 3 and 4 of this very thread there are posts from myself and another posting at least two different URLs that sell replacement fronts.
Probably more in the later pages too, but anyway...
But since technically you'll be voiding the warranty if you don't do it right so you may not wish to do this - Do at your own risk!
It's not particularly hard though, I've changed mine and of course if you do it right they'll never know as there's no warranty seal. Takes about 15 minutes if you do it slowly and carefully AND with the right tools.

well the edge of mine chipped off when my girlfriend sat on my knee while it was in my pocket. unfortunatly at the same time the touch screen is out - i have to press roughly 5mm below where i'm aiming. i decided to take it to where i bought it but they said its classed under acidental damage and that i'll have to claim on insurance.
oh - and before any jokes by bird is only a size 6

This did happen to me but only after 8 months. I bought a replacement cover off Ebay (where I got the phone), a nice black one from Supremecommunications. Problem is when i view the instructions I found on google for replacing the cover it mentioned a new aerial sticker.
I changed the case on my T68 quite easily and just pulled the aerial sticker off. anyone any tips as the new case is great but don't want to kill my phone!
thanks
Jake
P.S. Just bought Soldier Ants for my P900 and if you haven't tried it and like Worms try a search here. The developer actually makes changes to the game as requested by Esato members!

Thats exactly what even I am worried about. I know many people have dismatled the P900, but no gave proper instructions about what to do with the parts like the antenna. The manul cites some parts are "not re-useable". I dont know what should be done with such parts.
One idea I had was, incase of the broker front cover, just replace the front cover, keeping the back cover as it is.
