Not seen that problem... I tend to use Mac OS X's in-built zip file archiving feature. Haven't used StuffIt for a while... and my downloaded .sit files seem to un-stuff ok for me... do you have the latest version?

I think I have the latest version but how can I make use the built-in functionality. I am all about streamlining and keeping things as simple as possible. By the way, BlueNote is great. I am trying to think of a way to create a note and then Automate sending it automatically. Any ideas?

Right-click on any file or folder and choose "Create Archive of...". That makes a zip file in the same location as the original. Just double-click the .zip file to un-zip.
AppleScript is probably the only way to automate it (not even looked as 'Tiger's Automater - maybe that'll do it too). Dunno if BlueNotes is scriptable though...

I will try the archiving thing. I just tried again and Stuffit simply does not work or maybe it is Tiger. I think the files are there but not being seen or shown.

Thank you Jools,
Indeed the Lindmark.net appears to be down for a while...
Does anyboday have a copy of what was on that site ? I do not want to upgrade now to Tiger (I am waiting 10.4.2...) just to sync my new phone...
Thank you !
Oliver

Tiger (I am waiting 10.4.2...)
10.4.2 is Tiger. 10.4.x is Tiger, so you are not saving anything by waiting. As some here have had success, you may too be one of them, then again, maybe not.

I can't synk but I found a way to have all my contacts on my K750i. After I paired from the Mac, the phone was recognized for dropping files from the Bluetooth window but not to export vCards. So I paired the Mac a second time but this time from the phone, then Address Book accepted to send all my contact (400) to the K750 without problem.

For the most part people have been doing this, but it is the iCal that is not working.

After reading
this hint at
www.macosxhints.com it seems I'm starting to get somewhere... Finally I can synchronise my Contacts from Address Book with my K750!!!
This is what I did:
Deleted my previously modified iSync app
Extracted the original iSync application from the Tiger install DVD using
Pacifist
Put the un-modified iSync app back in 'Applications'
Using the Apple Developer Tools 'Property List Editor' I edited an existing phoneplugin file to match the SonyEricsson V800 but with K750 info. The MetaClasses.plist file was slightly different to the one in the first post of this thread.
Made a folder in the main 'Library' folder called 'PhonePlugins'
Put my 'SonyEricssonK750.phoneplugin' file in there
Deleted the ~/Library/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
Deleted the ~/Library/com.apple.iSync.plist
Deleted the contents of ~/Library/Phones
Restarted the computer
Deleted pairing info from the phone and the phones Contacts
Went through the usual pairing process and iSync set-up
Turned off the Calendar syncing in the iSync window
Did a sync and it worked!
If I turn on Calendar syncing I get the following error:
"An unexpected exception occured while synchronizing the device."
Fortunately if I turn Calendar syncing back off Contact syncing works again!
Here's the
PhonePlugin file I made (as a zipped folder).
To install it, drop the unzipped 'PhonePlugins' folder in the main 'Library' folder (NOT the users 'Library' folder).
If you've already made the modification to the iSync app from the first post in this thread you'll need to replace it with the original
un-modified iSync app. Then follow the steps I took above.
Hopefully this will work for you... Now to see if I can get Calendar syncing working...
