From what I can tell theres not much difference between the firmware. So does anyone recommend waiting until the W800 is released then seeing what davinci has to offer?

Im going to wait for davinci as i have no other choice. I guess its the smart thing to do. By then we will know more bout the bugs and all.

Had my K750i flashed to W800i, but just got it "re-flashed" back to K750i.

The reason is that there is nothing that makes it worth it (except the Flight mode, which is not really Flight mode but a Music mode as the Organizer etc is not available in Music mode) and the fact that the firmware is still buggy.

Also, it seems not possible to update the phone after the W800i is finally released.

Plus the lack of USB-driver for the W800i right now = no sync with the PC etc...

And one can not change the shortcut to the Music player (between the soft keys). I like the way it is on the K750i.

Bearing in mind the amount of problems with the various k750 firmwares, is the w800 firmware more stable/does it have any known problems? If it runs totally problem free, that in itself would make upgrading to w800 firmware worthwhile.

It wouldnt suprise me at all to find that both phones firmware share the same code base and thus the same bugs.
