Check if you can find a 1800Mhz network with a R380w and you know enough
Ifso = It's a tripleband (900/1800/1900)
If not = It's a dualband (900/1900)

@bucheral @ginz I think thats why it was called World due to its triple band ability. Could be used in the whole GSM world... now even equal to the real world.
@Stolleman I think there is a post early on in this thread about Uhuru
@ginz I will check Bertha info

@ginz:
ok what is my orange sim card 900 or 1800? Test:
I put it into a PH337, the fone works properly
I put it into a GH388, the fone says "only emergency calls"
I put a sunrise/swisscom 900 card into the PH337, the fone says "only emergency calls"
I put the same card into the GH388, the fone works properly
voilą: The R380World works with both cards

@ginz I like those hands-on trials...
LTE was in 3GPP release 8 sometimes late 2008. That's why I am curious about Bertha having it 2007.
Ericsson showed end-to-end trials mid 2008 I think.
@all I included a status column for prototypes, limited editions, concept ...
Link In our work in progress
Take a look how it works. Should we have a category released or should we leave it empty?

Okay, according to your tests, the R380w should also support 1800..
@Torshammer: "World editions" at that time were mostly dual-band, supporting the 900Mhz and the 1900MHz. That's why I was asking.
Check for example the I888 World and the T28 World:
Wikipedia
Same at Nokia. There was a Nokia 8850 (900/1800) and a Nokia 8890 (900/1900)
