@stolleman Thanks! On the C450S it says P1C and on the GSM Home base station it says R1A/FP2
How do you explain that?

R1A seems to be a pre prodution (or first) run or something?
Does anyone here have a phone labelled R1A?
I guess not.

@friends
Found two other images on my PC of two devices in my collection.

ER209i is a beautiful piece.

Then I have a R190SAT with a special case. A blue case covering even the antenna.

@103ssv
That is exactly what I have found out
It's hard to se the first time but after you've learned you can tell by looking on the buttons where it's from
I have to take a look if I have an R1A..

My S1088(early T28 prototype) was made 98W28, more then one year before it was released but it's a FP1

@torshammer
Ok, for your P1C:
P = Prototype
1 = Major update
C = Minor update

R1A/FP2:
R = Revision
1 = Major update
A = Minor update
/
FP = Factory Prototype
2 = Major update

I think R1A is for the firmware and FP2 is for the hardware.

@Stolleman:

wow, nice back cover for the GF788, it is surprising too see that then years after the end of Ericsson only phones there are still new things to discover about Ericsson

This would have been very interesting too in the time of Boba Fett, r0sewhite, Tigerente etc.

This forum has become a success again, after several years of poor participation, thanks to you and all the other new and old members, like torshammer, ginz, 103ssv etc.

@torshammer: I see you made a very good picture of the ER209i enjoy

@bucheral Thanks!

@stolleman Thanks! For the explanation. I learn a lot here beeing a new collector.

When I am at It. Can someone explain the rest that is on the label?

.

Another thing. How do you get the signature to show? I included a link to our collaboration document.
But I can't get it to show-up in My posts. The bottom is empty.

Fun to see you online again!
I think there is much more Ericsson history/phones/parts to discover, it will probably never be a time when evry rarity is found. That keeps me searching for more

It has been a big success now, 15 pages so far this year and I hope it will continue this way.

I have to thank you oldies and especially you bucheral for staying here and answering a newbie, it was a close call that I left this forum when it was almost dead but you kept me staying here, thank you

@torshammer
It took some days for my signature to show, they maybe have to personaly check it before accepting it?
The front of your R190 does look like a SH888, is it a prototype? If you can, please take a pic without the good looking case

00W38 = Made year 2000 Week 38
KDV 120 1069 = Product Code
P1C = Prototype revision

Ha! Look here:

I wrote on page 663:

At the end of 2004 we are on page 177
At the end of 2005 we are on page 436 (+259 pages written in 2005)
At the end of 2006 we are on page 525 (+89 in 2006)
At the end of 2007 we are on page 615 (+90 in 2007)
At the end of 2008 we are on page 640 (+25 in 2008)
At the end of 2009 we are on page 647 (+7 in 2009)
At the end of 2010 we are on page 656 (+9 in 2010)
At the end of 2011 we are on page 665 (+9 in 2011)

So you see, since 2009 the amount of pages written in this forum is between 7 and 9 per year.

But in 2012 we are only in March, and already have written about 15 pages as Stolleman said! That's what I call a living forum. The Ericsson life goes on at full throttle....
