Arc definitely the best looking phone, but so far other manufacturers have it beat in terms of pure hardware specs. Time will tell if bravia screen can beat an AMOLED screen.
Personally I'm not like this new fashion trend of slimmest phone. Believe its really holding back mobile development. You could have bigger better cameras, batteries, etc you are sacrificing better hardware for 2-3mm? Shame on all manufacturers going for this race.

Well … Look to LG's announcement today with a 4G device and a "Nova" display that currently uses 50% less power in bright environment than traditional AMOLED display, along with 50% less power than AMOLED display when viewing White backgrounds - the most common background across the web - is looking promising and is sound judgement on the latter part. THESE ARE LG's claims nothing that I can substantiate.
My point is with current battery technology, reducing power to LCD/ISP type displays will be the biggest movement over the next 2+years. That along with mobile OS kernels having the ability to have 1 stack controlling multiple requests for communications (GSM/EDGE/3G/4G/WLAN/WiMAX/BT/etc) and sharing the connection out to the various calls will be a primary move as well: we will not notice a difference here. [an example on desktop PC's Mac's have had this since 10.3, Win7 may get this with SP1]
KU, not sure WHAT this talk of dual-core being less than stable … there are only 3 companies right now that have researched and produced Dual-Core ARM based mobile cpu's: Texas instruments, Marvel recently, and Samsung. TI has been in this game for over 1.2yrs with the OMAP4xxx lineup already. Sorry make that 4 with Qualcomm but their not fully ARM-based as they've made extensive modifications to ARM design with their license.
ARC is looking VERY promising but I do NOT like the headset on the SIDE of the unit. (Top or Bottom - just like sexy adventures; there is no side entry

)

That's also my opinion. It maybe looks nice but it isn't very usefull. But I think something like
this will come along with it.

so honeycomb 3.0 is optimized for tablet and optimised dual core processor.so i can understand now why

doesnt come with dual core yet.as long as it can keep the price with single core.
Btw, android 3.0 look heavenly good.if apple doesn't enhanced its iOS for ipad, man..it'll totally pawn by android.

@Prom1: Well you are true about LG (chocolate, and so on) but the problem of this brand is it dependence on the fashionable trend.... While they often make awersome tech evolution/revolution.
I don't understand why you deny St-Ericsson, while SE get new technologies from Sony so why can't Ericsson give some ?
Nonetheless tomorow we will surely get some more information about these amazings form factors hardware and the meaning of all these leaked specs. But for now I know that apart from the look and camera this xperia arc seem inferior to the new Motorola, Samsung,LG and HTC.
But still I

SE
Moreover what do you think about the xperia play ? I know you have a smart point of view
