They played around with different fronts (covers) on the old GH388 as well.
Below is my wood one. I have the regular black and an ebony as well.
I guess the antenna ring is supposed to be gold.

@Stolleman: I "only" have two Michelle protos, the two you can see on the pics. On the first pic the blue one is an unreleased design study.

The main difference between the A2618 and the A2628 is that the A2628 had some sort of Wap enabled based on text messages (sms).

More pictures from me.

First the UMTS prototype Valentina based on a R520 form factor

Then my Delphipad. It is a linux-based, still running, websurfing tablet.
WLAN for connectivity. Nice form factor but a bit thick.

From the top

Together with the Valentina so you get a feel of the size.

Tor,

I think I can speak for all of us that we are happy to have you here. But the effort (not!) you have take to obtain all those beautiful prototypes/concepts makes me feel a little bit like a clown.

We are spending so many years of searching and so much money to get a prototype and you get them all within some months. Even models that we never heard about....

Again, I'm happy to have you here, but it makes me also a little sad... I think the word "jealous" will fit here properly

@ginz Well, these two latest I have had for many years. Of course, I have lately used my whole network to get hold of more. Maybe I get hold of more than one (doubles) some day. I am thinking of you my friends. You are valuing them as I do. So dont be sad. It will pay off... and I am still a newcomer with less knowledge and I am learning every day here from you guys. And I have to spend money too....

@torshammer: Congratulations to your nice collection! What is the manufacture date of your Delphipad? 2001? 2002? I knew the Apple's iPad was only a copy of something made by Ericsson long time ago

Are you still collecting or have you quit?
If you are still collecting, please post some pics

Well,
I have just a part of my collection left and spent time and money on my family.

Some of the left protos and so on for sale can be seen at my galerie.

But items like these have now a new owner:
