And I'm also still present... Although I don't post that much.

I'm in Korea for business and when I'm coming home, there will be a nice box with three 'new' Ericssons waiting for me. I'm so very curious and this will make my collection even more special.

How many other collectors do have the JB988?

Hi all! Recently I got this original Curt NMT phone, supposed to be the very first mobile pocket phone from Ericsson. I just like to show you some pics here:

Something else: During the last some days I renamed all the stands in the glass cabinets. Every phone indicates now 1. Company Name (Ericsson/Orbitel/Ascom/ Docomo etc.) 2. Phone model 3. Production date 4. Network info
If it is a prototype, I decided to write Prototype instead of the production year. Everything looks better now, I think

have a look here:

Finally I had a moment to go to the cinema to watch the new Bond film, then I saw it, for the first time but behind glass I know some of you have it, I still miss it, the JB988!

By the way, where are you Ericsson collectors and fans?

Just look at that phone, now look at the phones that we have today.
They still need some catching up

Could someone tell me the name of this Ericsson prototype, and the name of the Ericsson communicator -which I think was also just a concept/prototype- that Lara Croft used in the first Tomb Raider movie?

The one in Tombraider was the communicator i think.
I believe this is a prototype that came before the T68 or at least before the RX1

As of today I'm a proud owner of an Ericsson Pamela, a near perfect Penelope (with commercial box) and the Ericsson Delpipad...

Pictures will be made soon

I think the device used in TombRaider was a Diana. It was a scaled down version of Pamela (known as the communicator). The device in the hand on the previous page I still dont know anything about. It seems be a running version. It is not a RX1. You can check here in my collection -> Prototypes 00's

Here are my latest additions -> New additions

I've just found one more pic about that mysterious prototype.

And i've found a shot about the phone from Tomb Raider in this thread, but that's not exactly like the Diana.

@puestadelsol True. It does not look the same. Interesting!
