@KALIOSTRO
Thank you very much! I've found his Ericofon bluetooth too and I like it but a real working Ericofon GSM is teh shit

@Bucheral
You have a comment on your site and yes I still love your site
I've tried the Ericofon for a couple of days and the only problem with it is that it doesn't fit in my pocket. And I have made about 20-30 phonecalls with it wthout any problem.

@torshammer
I have five different Ericsson DECT but the only one boxed is the DT260.

And I have a calculator from Ericsson made to look lika a Ericsson DECT, strange thing but funny.

It's to bad that the DT570 is only a DECT, I love the design and i think it would have been a great GSM!

Hi 103ssv!

And if DT570 is a stripped TH688 and the TH688 is based on a GH688.. If that.. Maybe I could.. Wait a minute..

I have built my self an Ericsson hybrid mohahaha, I call it GH570 even if the front says DT570

Can you spot the differences?

And yes my fellow collectors it does work, I've just tried it

@torshammer:
Thank you so much for posting the User-Manuals from the (almost forgotten) RoadCom-Generation !

Maybe it´s worth to mention, that in September 1981 Ericsson installed in Saudi-Arabia the FIRST operating cellular mobile-network EVER in the world using this units !
The technique was basicly a NMT450 system, operating @450 MHz.

Enclose I´ll post some relevant pages from the book "The ugly duckling - mobile phones from Ericsson" (ISBN 91 630 54523) published by Ericsson Mobile Communications AB in 1997.

Amazing to read, how the guys down there came in trouble, when all the drills broke while installing the RoadCom-units into the armour-plated cars of the Saudis and what happened when the buttons of the units where melting in the desert-sun...

Enjoy !

By the way:
In the video called "Ericsson - On The Line (long version)", which you´ll find on YT, there are a lot of quotes about the deal with the Saudis back in 1981:
Link text...

Enclose you see an installed mobile-unit in a Saudi-car (taken from the video above):

Enjoy !

@KALIOSTRO: please tell me if you find out what to do to make the R380 show the picture

@bucheral: Unfortunatelly can´t find out
But also interesting, how to show the R380-contacts in such a mode, as shown on the Customer Reference List from 2000. Any idea ?

Cool that someone dedicates a wepage to the old T28s, but I think it is not fair that these people use my pictures to make publicity for the phones they want to sell. I wrote them a mail, they have not shown any reaction yet.

Honestly, I consider this site is just a rip-off.
There is no "impressum" on the site, no contact-information, no telephone, nothing reliable...

@KALIOSTRO

Thanks for your comment, now where do you have that picture of the R380 in the grass from? I tried out a lot of things but I could not find out what to do to make the phone show that screen....

Hi,

Does anyone have any spare removable front panels for the A1018s? Or any for sale? I'm looking for other colours as I have just the standard blue one. I have checked eBay on many occasions but it seems I would only be able to get other panels by buying another phone! Please message me if you have any other colour panels available!

Thanks!
