@stolleman
Nice satellite collection. Here in my country (Philippines), we didnt have that model. Only the R190 was introduced. Very rare nowadays.

At a local cellphone shop amidst today's androids and ios: (around U$ 25 on sale), Surprised that they carry a couple of ericsson accessories.

good to see that those phones are still alive and kicking. Hopefully some of the "new" users of today's cellphones got abit more respect for what Ericsson did

Here is two of the latest updates of my collection.

An A2618s Coca Cola limited edition made for demo purposes. So I guess not made in great numbers.

A W30 LTE router made for test purposes I think. There is also a W35 that also could do fax and voice.
The routers also exist for HSUPA if I got it correctly.

Hello,

I'm Peter from Hungary, mobile phone collector (www.oldmobil.hu).

I started to develop a site for mobile collectors: http://www.mobilecollectors.net/
It is basicly an old phone database, but all of the content uploaded by collectors,
to help others to find old or rare phones. So it helps the collectors to share their
old mobile phones with eachother and maybe build community.
In case you upload a new phone, a new photo or you edit the already uploaded
ones, the address of you webpage will appear among the participants, this way
other visitors can also find your collection.

So if You think this is a good idea, check it!
I very welcome all Ericsson collector to develop and broaden Ericsson
phones section on www.mobilecollectors.net.

Thanks, and have a nice day,
Peter

Can anyone let me know if an A1018s/GA628 battery will fit and power up an earlier phone such as the GA318/PH388?

I know they're a slightly different shape, and the earlier batteries have a bulge, and a corresponding indent on the inside of the phone, but has anyone attempted to fit an A1018s/GA628 battery into a GA318/PH388? Did it work?

@oldmobil Nice initiative! I have visited the site but not registered yet. Have you noticed this effort? -> Help edit the Ericsson phone list https://docs.google.com/sprea[....]kc1NlRGJmQzVJbmlyZUxWbkE#gid=0
Maybe it is possible to combine.

@103 I believe it is an Ericsson TEMS. The first one. I have a similar but branded TEMS. The first one was based on this Orbitel GSM device.

Guys, I need your help! I bought a T28s a couple of days before. It is in mint fast new condition but with master code unknown. How can I reset that code to 0000. Can it be done by just removing the backup battery or it could be only reflashed? I have a normal ericsson com cable but not one made for reflashing. I've read somewhere in the internet, that there are utils that can somehow obtain that code without flashing the eeprom.

@kothor:
I had the same prob once with another phone.
Once I thought how to figure out the code, I came over the idea that in most of the cases people just put in their birthday. So from 9999 possibilities there are much less left !

So I´d tried manually only the numbers from 01 to 31 for the day and 01 to 12 for the month.
Remember, that in some countries first comes the day and then the month or vice versa.
In about half an hour I hacked the code

Good luck !
