A bit confused here. It says both of them are using the Cortex A8 CPU, same as the one used in iphone 3GS? I thought they were suppose to have snapdragons. Don't know if it matters......

The LT15i profile, which is the one for Xperia arc, also says cortex so I'm not sure they're anywhere near reliable for extracting that kind of info.

Remember that xperia arc wasn't supposed to have this kind of screen, camera and software, moreover it is a 1ghz
slimmest phone that was suppose to be a slim 800mhz outdated one. So you shouldn't be that sure of yourself...
Joke apart do you guys think that the next x10 update (with dual touch) will come with 2.2 ? I mean it would be a nice "catch up" from SE.

What are you talkin about? I knew arc was using some sort of different screen tech, I knew it was most probably 8mp cam, I knew it was gonna use the crappy 2nd gen qualcomm (which has been at 1ghz), nothing is new for me, no surprise for me I'm afraid. And these are 2010 specs I'm afraid. Not next gen 2011 hopes.
Only thing going for this phone is maybe enhanced cam performance with exmore cam, we will have to see if the screen can live upto hope. If you really hold "sexyness" over other things then go for the arc. For me I'm out, other manufacturers are offering true 2011 gen tech.
So if you know everything then tell me what SE is gonna put in it's 2011 MWC phones !!!
And why do you simplify my point of view about 2011 ? I said this phone lacks front facing camera but also that it have the screen, the camera, it is the slimmest (what it isn't an innovation ? So give me another that is as slimm and powerful as this one...) and actually it is FAST operating even HD videos plays and turn around flawlessly.
Well it doesn't have a dualcore, so anything that doesn't have dualcore is SH*t for you ? No problem go buy your phone, nore me or SE are gonna put a knife under your throat the market will provide to you many alternatives solutions so take yours and enjoy it, I never told that the arc is the greatest phone ever but a best seller for SE's new strategy.
And since we are in rumor topic I think that I can bet on something like 2 SE phone that is gonna be anounce in MWC will have dual core since it isn't impossible if Sony give a great hand to SE I don't see why Ericsson won't. But it seems like you have a friend working at SE that give you every informations about the next phones.

..and Neo might not be 'new' anything but just a 'cool' sounding name. For me it evokes images of Keanu Reeves in looking cool with all the potential but without the balls to do anything really awesome like for most of Matrix, sound like SE phones of late? Cool looking, potential that's not filled.. it fits.
