shame about the keypad not switching from phone pad to qwerty

Oh I can confirm Ndrive definately works i just installed nokia pips (no idea what this does) but i got a gps lock fine

Ive only used the phone properly today as my n97 said the satio wasnt a compatable model to use the switch software to send my contacts over so that took me since sat to be bothered to do but one thing I have noticed in the days usage is how stable the phone is non of the shambles my n97 faced me with. Shame they didnt incoporate kinetic scrolling so i guess we will have to wait for a firmware update for that.

Don't get too complacent about no bugs or stability. From experience myself i have had phones which seem great at first then things start happening. Lets hope nothing does break down.

Handy shell does work seamlessly with the SE theme you just cycle thru with either the menu key or red key the same as the n97
Have to blame it on my unit's problems with the standby apps then, nice.

Is there no one willing to post pics ??
Am keen to see how the 12mp compares or if its true that more mps doesnt make any difference .

Someone please post some photo's, most ive seen so far are from non retail units.

Hi all

Just to say I managed to blag the following deal with a FREE Sony Ericsson Satio from Vodafone and will be receiving my new toy in the morning

600 mins, unlimited texts and web for £19.67 on 18 month contract - no 15 months deal then up to £35 for last 3 months etc so there is definitely scope to haggle with Vodafone retentions if you try hard enough.

BTW I was offered the above deal by rententions when they rang me with my PAC code and I have only been on a £15 rolling 30 day sim only deal with vodafone for last 6 months or so and never spent more than £20 on my bill.

Aint had a Sony Ericsson since the w800i but looking forward to having a play with it and seeing if I prefer it to my trusty HTC Touch Diamond - if I don't it will be going on ebay ASAP.

So I just bought it on eBay (cant wait!) dont get me wrong I love the phone but can anyone give me a reson why Sony wont put 3.5mm jacks on their phones? It litterally blows my mind that they came out with the Xperia and w995 with the jacks but did NOT put them in the Aino and Satio? WHY? Also for heavy music listener do you think it will be really annoying without it? I even bought an adaptor for it.
