Look at
this post for a comparison of the K800 with another camphone (D900).

it's not a secret that K800 sucks in low light photos. of course it sucks because of so called "software engineers" which don't know what camera driver programming means. all i can say is that potential of the K800 camera is huge even in low light (i miss led), however driver must not be created by SE engineers also without 1000 pages of documentation. proofs? peace of cake, shots from K800 and hard modded camdriver

(EXIF says exposure time 4/3? another bug by SE, real value is 3/4)

@Raiderski
Eugh, that 'Auto' shot is so noisy it makes the Tokyo street outside my window seem quiet!!!
However, the last image is somewhat impressive - although, the T650i (which is what I can comment on regarding the K770i) - does produce some great colours, is more vivid then the K800i - although, the K800i is far superior as an all round Camera phone...

Yes, and when comparing the K770 with the K800 there's a huge difference in build quality. The creaking from my K770 make me miss home. We don't get any snow here in Muscat but the creaking reminds me of the noise you get when walking on new powdery snow back home in Sweden. And I can't a way to make it stop. In my old P990 I just put a small piece of folded paper but this doesn't work on the K770.

Its amazing just how much better photo's the K800 can take with a modded camdriver. The problem is, it took hackers to achieve this picture quality. SE should have been the ones to improve on its own camera, not other people with a drive to fix SE's mistakes.
And so its my opinion that when comparing two phones (ex. K800 and K770), it only makes sense to compare them with STOCK camera drivers, since thats what 99% of the population is going to be using. And in that case, the K770i tends to perform better than the K800.
