Thanks for the info.
How did you restore P800 data to P900 ?
I read you have to do contacts, agenda, jotter one at a time.

Is there an easy method? ...click restore in craddle with old P800 data?
thanks

Just got my P900 from the Orange shop in Plymouth, It's the first one they've sold, and I new more about the features than the "Orange Phone Trainer"!
I also got the new Orange World 5 Access Plan so that I can really take advantage of all the features.
Can't wait for it to finish charging.

@nigelot1 - What I did was to synch. all my contacts etc. from P800 into Outlook as I normally do. I just then installed latest synch. software and resynched this data with the P900. All came acroos Ok as far as I can tell. I don't arrange my data in any particular order so it was pretty straight forward as far as I was concerned.

Hi
Another method of transfering contacts is to us the contacts wizard.
Turn the infra red ports of both phones on. Then go to the contacts wizard in the app list of the p900. It then connected with my T68 and transfered all the contacts from it to my p900 without me having to do anything.
Took three attemts to connect, but once it was going, worked great.

Caspa

you were right, my P900 ordered on Tuesday did arrive on Wednesday. I've been on the road for a few days and just got home an hour ago and discovered the P900 had been delivered.

Initial impressions:

1. A very mature form factor design. Can't see why SE should change this much now.
2. Nice screen and colours and lovely tactile feel of the jog dial
3. Battery cover seems fragile

I am a very happy camper!

Can Orange buyers confirm if the boxes/manuals etc are also orange branded?

Also where is the logo on the phone? would buying a flip cover solve the branding problem?

Unlocked? (i'm being hopeful here!)

Can't wait for mine to arrive next week!

@dumbteminal
Yes the manual has got the mark of the beast (Orange Logo), in fact the whole bloody manual is Black and Orange....

Replacing the flip cover should solve this, in the box you get a one that is used when you take the flip off, but that has the mark too.

I am trying to get it unblocked, I have spoken to some techie guys who said that by next week the latest they should be able to "Set the little P9 Free"......I will keep you posted.....
