What's your problem? It's not like he has to tell or show us anything. Stop acting like you're entitled to it.

i dont mind what people do, the people who make the service tool will be pleased as they will get another subscriber, however i was hesitant to give the link because of the people who earn a living this way (i do it as a hobby). they might be angry at me for losing their customers.

hey there Gbrooks
Had a few questions.

How long did it take?
Could you send me information on how to do it myself?
Could you tell me where abouts you live? (perhaps your nearby
and I could pass by)
Where did you get the tools you needed?
Where did you get the firmware you used?
Did you try going to do a webupate? (i know there isn't one yet, but does it recognize the phone?)

Thanks.
Kei

(pm me any sensitive information, thanks!)

no it didnt take long about 10 minutes.
to do what i and anlog and by now loads of others you need fighter, its a great service however it does come at a price.

like i said i am happy to upgrade anyones phone for free, but i suspect SE will want to make an official move soon.

i havent tried synching yet but it should work fine, although the phone has differnt hardware it thinks its a p910 and if it does then things connecting with it will.

I think SE will block this very quickly.
Otherwise the sales of p910 will be horrible.......
am I right?

But how they can block it?
I guess the only thing they can do is check the phone and FW when people tried to flash a p900 with p910 FW back to the official p900 FW and thereby take their warranty. That's not gonna stop many people since the most enthusiastic have bought their p900 as soon as it got out - and they have maybe just a few months until the warranty runs out. And those are the people who will want the new FW anyway.

Well right now I figure the only feasible way to convert your p900 to a p910 would be to spend 20+ bucks on the cost + s/h of mailing it to anlog which is the guy on howardforums that flashed his p900 to a p910. imo its either that or wait till someone comes out with a simpler/cheaper solution for the 'common people' to be able to apply this hack.

Note: Anlog only accepts US orders
