What were you using before the K700 ? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts/ comparisons...

well se are expected to announce some finacial results tomorrow and within that will be sales figures. so i guess we will see if nokias price cuts have affected se sales and profit or if they have managed to stay clear as scotboyuk and others have suggested by trying to define themselves as high end
Interesting press release, looks pretty healthy
se press release

@ muzikman
i say you really need to reconsider a few things. the nokia 6600 was meant to be at a higher level than the K700i, its meant to be a smartphone, how can you compare it to a cameraphone? it's like comparing a cameraphone to a colourscreen mobile and saying the cameraphones better coz it's got a camera! WELL DUH!! also i have used nokias and SEs.
I've had and used the nokia:
3210
3310
3210
8210
6600
8910i
6230
and SE:
t68i
t200
t100
t610
t310
z200
p900
k500i
z1010
s700i
i have to say i found the older nokia phones very annoying.especially the big animations which toook up the whole screen,
e.g. the big trash bin which shook when deleting the text messages and the tick when sending a message and selecting something. it just annoyes me.
well onto the 6600 which you think is so amazing, it was designed to be a samrt phone right? well controlling it's functionality with only a joystick and keypad was not gd enough. it really felt like i had a palmtop with no touch screen function.it was soo frustrating!!(i actually sold this phone and used the t610) if you really want to compare the 6600 compare it to something of the same class p800 or p900!(so much better phones)
and the 8910i i have to say was a complete waste of money. after the novelty of the titanium shell and sliding mechanism wore off it was a pretty lame phone. has bluetooth and colour screen but doens't support file transferr, not even pictures! why?? and the big down point was letters and number of the keypad was printed on the titanium bits between the buttons. so in the
dark you can't actually see which keys u are pressing. also the sliding mechanism starts acting up after a bit and the phone starts ejecting itself in ur pocket. well i have to say the nokia 6230 was a decent phone, it supports bluetooth file transfer!but SEs menu system is far superior with all the icons on the screen at one time. saves so much time scrolling through everything.
so as for me i have used both SEs and Nokias and my heart lies with SE. their software and menu systems and functinalities is so much better.

My brother has a n6600. While we were driving to church we were both playing the same mp3 song in our handset. I'm using a P900 by the way. He turned off his 6600 bec he was embarrassed when his girlfriend said that the P900 sounds better and the 6600 sounds like "music playing from a can" lol

i'm a nokia user for about seven years and when i shifted to sony ericsson (k700i) i have no regrets. there are so many nokia models nowadays but only very few has great features and most of the rest are forgetables.
