Well the only place i could find the spec's for this was on My-Symbian at this is what Michal wrote.
4. Camera and multimedia
The phone is equipped with 2 Megapixel camera with autofocus. The camera allows taking pictures with up to 1600x1200 pixels resolution and recording MPEG-4 video clips with up to 320x240 pixels at 15 frames per second. While 2 Megapixel sensors in mobile phones no longer make people say "Wow!", P990i camera is still one of the best in its class and deserves highlighting.
So if Michal has got it wrong fair enough but can you please point me to anywhere it says Video recording not viewing @30fps because i can't find it.
It is most certainly not anywhere on SE site or on any of the other reviews i have read.

how about reading the P990 whitepaper, do you know a better place??? or actually owning a P990 and shooting videos with it, and then checking the frame rate???
i will post a QCIF 30fps clip if you still refuse to accept a simple fact...

Where exactly have i said i don't accept as you call it a simple fact, all i did was request where to see it!!. As for looking in the White Paper is this the same White Paper that claims support for Mac's then, hardly the oracle of truth then is it. To be honest seeing as you claim so many things that are later contradicted is it any wonder i am unlikely to accept anything you say as fact just because you say so. After all you still claim the P990 is a wonderful device unless we see what you say on the SE Dev's site.

But whilst in the last firmware it's "That never happens to me" when ever anyone has a problem it's always bad user . bad flash, faulty hardware it's never SE and there bad software or hardware is it. You claim so much here and on other Forums and then whine like a little girl on SE Dev's you are inconsistent and deluded. It's 8 months now and still problems great job SE what a truly memorable product you have launched maybe for its 1yr birthday you may resolve it although i doubt it.

Okay guys..
I found some people here saying camera of p990i is good enough but i wud differ from this. i have used k750i for around a year and have taken many snaps using it. i think the result k750i is much better then p990i. am happy with the all the features of p990i except its camera and external speaker sound quality & low volume. hope these things will get rectified with the new FW.

i am also ex-k750 user...i agree k750 camera was better for normal use, but p990´s is not much worse, and its macro mode is actually better - you can focus closer to objects
but, there is no justification for p990 to not be at least equal to k750´s or even w810´s in other situations besides macro photos - its all a matter of camera software, and the truth is, like you said, SE has done almost nothing to improve it since the first firmware
