My CD copy has arrived (in only 3 days!). It's just a shame the Globalsat BT-338 I've ordered elsewhere to use with it hasn't yet.

Again, I wish to know the exact reason why some versions of Route66 are limited to the P910 (memory card, memory, UIQ, what else?). Is it possible to upgrade P800 & P900 to use these versions?

Thank you

I think the only reason is the map size - the Px00-Version has smaler maps (the Px00 Models can work only with 128MB Sticks)

The map sizes of the P910-Version:

Benelux - 92.118 KB
Eastern_Europe - 40.609 KB
Finland - 114.306 KB
France - 215.155 KB
Germany - 218.222 KB
Great_Britain - 132.541 KB
Greece - 7.778 KB
Iberia - 105.647 KB
Italy - 210.144 KB
Skandinavia - 158.963 KB
Switzerland_Austria - 115.177 KB

So if I need to drive across europe, I have to take a laptop anyhow cos the supplied stick can't hold all the maps, or shell out AGAIN for a larger card. That stinks when you're paying £235.

Unless u r driving across more then 3 countries, then u need a bigger MS. Otherwise get a 1GB MS Duo or 2GB to store all the maps. Frankly I think its not often that we travel so much by car.

to anybody with R66, what GPS receiver's can you use with the P910 and R66? i'm guessing there is a dropdown menu with a list like Tomtom 3? i already have a GPS receiver and i wish to know if it is compatible.
