don't have that problem with my T65. its been heavely used for 1.5years. only problem is that the /// logo cam lose, had to glue it back on.
ah yes the ericsson communicator. this was the P800's mother. you can see clearly that the OS is just the same as the symbian OS today. again i think that /// made the biggest tribute to the symbian OS.

yeah i had the same problem with my t65, it used to switch off randomly. very annoying.
but, i found a really low tech solution. i stuck a small piece of folded paper between the sim holder and the phone, which made the holder grip the slot a whole lot better!! lol
the guy i sold the phone to later was like.. what the hell is this!!
lol
yeah my /// sticker fell off as well!!!
and i must say the t65 was one of the most hardy phones around. it fell out of my pocket onto the road when i was riding a bike, at almost 80 km/h.
lets see the k700 or p910 survive one of those falls!

Yes, its a very resistable fone, but i ll never forgive /// for the placing of the sim slot. It was the one and only time they did it, still didnt get why. And what could be the reason to 'close' the batt on that way? Never did it before, however, its one of the best batt of ///. Think its a 850 or 950 mah.

yeah,
it was a real workhorse that batt. i used to charge the phone like twice a week even after extensive usage.
i think they designed the sim slot the way it was because the battery wasn't accesible to end user.as to why they did that, i don't know.
but, i guess there's no such thing as a perfect phone.
any things about the r520 that u found annoying?

No, its the perfect fone of all times imho. I use it every day, my only fear is the battery, i think it will die in the next years. I have some 'new' ones, they are still boxed, do hope against long staying untouched, they will present a good performance.

Actually I think Psion made the biggest tribute to Symbian! (Me being an ex-Psion developer) And just remember - IMHO Psion had the best PDA on the market (Series 5) and look what happened to them..

Both of us are right, just remember mc128. Its a psion with 3 stripes on the cover. Do liked the idea to launch a palmtop especially made for a fone brand and so increase the possibility of mobile biz.
