all i dont understand is why SE dont build in a 3.5mm jack, using an adapter is so frustrating

but it would have been nice of SE to consider us people who buy 3rd party headphones.

They do! That's why they're providing the adapter!

If the phone had a 3.5mm jack then you could use your headphones but would have to use the phone's mic when taking calls. To get a wired mic it would require another adapter instead of the fastport adapter they provide now.

So in otherwords if they had a 3.5MM jack then it would be more hassle then convenience cause you would need to buy more stuff?

Ok seeing the shots i am convinced that there is NO way this being an exmor sensor...
So what's the difference between 8.0 and 12.1 ......... 3.1 much more noise on the photo ...... That's the truth!

In such a big phone like Satio with entertainment unlimited logo they should have used

-microUSB which is much more usable
-stereo speakers upscaling the experience of watching a videclip or a movie in that huge screen with this big analysis
-oled has nothing to do with the size.. but with the contrast ,angle-view , energy consuption
-i really hope that we are gonna see a 1500mah.... is the least they need to do!

and please SE ... NO delays this time...not a single day!!

Yes, assuming that you do not only use your phone for listening to music but also for making or receiving the occasional call as well, and that you do not always wear shirts with breast pockets where you can keep your phone (to keep the mic close to your mouth). If you keep your phone in a belt case then you need an adapter with builtin mic. Either fastport or 3.5mm - you choose!

WTF? With my NOKIA the remote control has a mic for when i need to use it as a handsfree. The adapter ADDS more wireing making it an annoyance to use. Plus SE could have done what they did with W995, have fast port and 3.5mm jack, simple. A 3.5mm jack wouldnt have caused any hassle, they could just do what Nokia do and add a remote with a mic built-in for when using it as a handsfree.

Well, they could have, but didn't.
Anyways, personally, I think that if you're into taking photos, you should go for the Satio, while if you'd rather have higher quality videos (disputable), you should take an OmniaHD. The other differences aren't that important.

About the 3.5: I cannot see why I would need one, I think it is useless but I do not get this:
"If the phone had a 3.5mm jack then you could use your headphones but would have to use the phone's mic when taking calls. To get a wired mic it would require another adapter instead of the fastport adapter they provide now."
> If I am not mistaken my P800 had a 3.5 and I could make calls with that headset as well.

About Magnetometer aka electric Compass: As far as I know it is important if you navigate with the car, otherwise the navigation device does not realize when you change lanes.
Is it certain that the Satio does not have it? I do not even know if my GPS Enabler HGE-100 has one, I use it with my G900 and it is super precise.

NightBlade
Ye for video resolution the OmniaHD is better, but it records the audio of the video in AMR ,so even for video the Satio has an advantage, id rather have VGA @30FPS with AAC audio and have a nice balance than have nice quality but crap audio.

And if SE put in dual mics like with the C902 etc, then you're gonna have some damn good sound quality.

Mizzle,
Why can't SE phones encode MP4 videos in H.264 which is of better quality than H.263.
