well i'm definately buying the xbox 360 and the playstation 3, don't think i will be buying the nintendo revolution. just think
XBOX 360= HALO 3, PROJECT GOTHAM 3 and DEAD OR ALIVE 4!
PLAYSTATION 3= METAL GEAR SOLID 4!

I finally get sorted with my xbox and xbox live and now the 360 will be coming out. I'm more than happy with the current one, but the technology geek in me will mean i'll have to get the 360! (After a price drop of course, i'm not that crazy!).
Not to sure about the design, but i guess it will grow on me, just like the xbox did.
I'm only looking to get this, but the compotition looks interesting, PS3 reportadly has better specs, and apparently the ways that gamers interact with the nintendo revolution will "Revolutionize" the way we play our games. Trying to evolve like the touch screen on the DS compared to conventional handheld gaming consoles.
But the handles on the ps3 controler made me laugh! I mean wtf is that?! a boomerang!
Ah well, let's just wait and see...

Nice to see there's definitely a hard drive included :-) i'll be waiting for a price drop too though. Those ps3 pads aren't a final design so don't worry about that. But i would worry about the ps3 price, ken kutaragi recently confirmed 'it will be expensive'. I can only assume that'll mean over the 300 launch price of all the other playstations.

each company gonna lose millions on the actuall sale of each console
i cant see a price drop until summer/winter 2006
and i think £300 for the xbox 360 is worth it

Of course 300 will be worth it. I'm willing to wait, i played my dc way passed the xbox launch date. I expect ms will cut the price of the 360 at the ps3 launch, but if that launches at a higher price than the 360(more than likely) they may not have too. It's actually billions both companies are expected to lose in the first year.

i've read that microsoft are getting subsidies for the xbox 360 as they will be losing $75 on every american console. if will be launched at £300 they will get more than $75 back. got my info from

Who's giving ms $75? The 300 price is nowhere near official yet btw. I've read about the 75$ loss per console too. The ps3 is predicted to cost a stonking $490 dollars to manufacture! That's gonna hit sony hard if they launch under 400. Which is why i still think they'll drop blu ray and one of the hidef outputs and a few other things lol

That sounds a little...no a lot unfair on the competition. I'm sure there must be international laws against it. Can't see it happening. MS have plenty of money around, a plenty of monopoly court cases to deal with lol
