@Sapporobaby, it is a known fact here in india that it the S700 is mighty overpriced. Have you ever given a thought why i am not saying the same about the P910? It's not me alone. Every one at the SE india forum are unhappy about the S700's pricing. This message was posted from a T230

But this is only one market so this does not prove anything. People have been saying this about phones from the very beginning, so while I can sympathize with you, it does not make your case valid on a global scale.

I dont know about the golbal case but in India it is very highly overpriced, moreover I have seen people from all over the places complaining about the prices for s700 so i guess its not only the case of just one country.

Just so that we can all have an idea of what is fair, what would be the realistic price that people are willing to pay for either the k700 or the s700? If I was in the mood and the timing was right, I would pay $1000 for an s700, but this is my upper limit. I would not go higher than this even though I have had offers of up to $1200 for mine.

Here, the S700 costs about $750. And thats EXPENSIVE! For about $50 more, i can get a P910. But bear in mind that the $750 is the equivalent of $2000 in Indian terms! This message was posted from a T230

Whizkidd,

This is about the normal price for the s700 globally. I know that the pricing structure does not take into account the economic conditions globally but this is life. SE figures that there are enough people in your country that will be able to afford the s700 so they will stay high.
