in SE menus, the sim menu is located in "entertainment" section which is baffling to me.

it will be very hard to beat nokia and it took for them very long time to get the nr position and be so strong... so i dont think, that in the near future anybody can beat them...

True! My marketing sense tells me that people like to buy on what the company offers as their flagship. SE flagship phones are decreasing while Nokios are increasing and so will their low end and mid range phones.

Further more Nokia or even Motorola have apps like Calender,alarms,MP3,etc thrown on the menu, but SE has it organised in tabs like "Organiser","File manager" etc..
nokia is far easier to use, i use both SE and Nokia and you cant beat nokia's user friendlyness. there's a reason why billions of people prefer because of its ease to use.
i both used nokia and SE, but i found SE's UI more interesting and "organized" than nokia. for example the gallery vs. file manager, in gallery you'll find sounds, pictures and videos, in file manager you can have instant access to all the files in one folder since the name implies it as "File manager" you can set alarms, ringtones and play and move java games in folder to another folder while nokia won't allow you to do that on the applications menu(yet another menu!). now who says Nokia's UI more user friendly? i believe it could be on their S40 and their monochrome UI(i.e. 6233 and 1100) but never on S60=D. nokia became user friendly because the have been there ever since, and people who have early experiences with it will surely have some time getting used to another UI like SE or the "also intuitive" Samsung and motorola. but ask people who have neither experiences with with any of them(novices) then give him a typical SE phone. and change that to nokia later on, i doubt the latter will gonna be so easy for him to operate. btw. it's just my own experience=D

the first big problem i encounter with nokia S60 is that they actually use weird symbol as menu, and unless you know it or you experience with it, you won't know how to get to the menu. As far as my experience with N70, the menu wise is quite ok, i mean its not too bad, but yes, i prefer SE UI than nokia.
With nokia it is impossible to go to a certain menu within less than a second, whereas with SE, i can always access all the menu within less than one second, thanks to the shortcut they make available to the keypad+quick response.

Options and more both are just names, some people just prefer options to some extent because they are used to. I found that if you have put calendar, alarm, etc thrown on a menu, it just makes it looks like a cheap, low end phone (it just my thinking

). Just to note for QVGA, "billions" of people are using Nokia, but not using S60, most of these users using low end like 1100, which is very very user friendly to most people, even for elder. S60 is actually quite difficult to use and understand to some extent, that makes it even SE is easier to understand.

then what about SE's low end? why cant they make it as easy to use as nokia's?
