This is still the only phone that interests me out the 3 announced although i'm still not sure about the absence of a dedicated keypad/keyboard.I still can't get completly used to my LG Renoir's touchscreen. How is this new name pronounced btw ?

About the 3.5: I cannot see why I would need one, I think it is useless but I do not get this:

About Magnetometer aka electric Compass: As far as I know it is important if you navigate with the car, otherwise the navigation device does not realize when you change lanes.
Is it certain that the Satio does not have it? I do not even know if my GPS Enabler HGE-100 has one, I use it with my G900 and it is super precise.

Can't remember the P800? Not sure but that came out BEFORE the Fast Port was launched.
As to the compass, I laughed out loud at your comment. No you don't need one, the systems use 3 satelites to track your position to I think it's about 3 meters these day's?
The digital compass is going to be used for things like Google Streets, I.E. pretty useless really.

Ok seeing the shots i am convinced that there is NO way this being an exmor sensor... Sigh, see repost below. GO AND GIVE FACTUAL PROOF THAT IT IS NOT EXMOR THEN?
So what's the difference between 8.0 and 12.1 ......... 3.1 much more noise on the photo ...... That's the truth!

In such a big phone like Satio with entertainment unlimited logo they should have used

-microUSB which is much more usable HTC use this, guess what, they do NOT give you 3.5mm either
-stereo speakers upscaling the experience of watching a videclip or a movie in that huge screen with this big analysis
Wow, seriously people, get a life, do you REALLY prefer to watch an entire film on a PHONE? Then cinema or a big HD TV? And IMO video services are a waste of time on mobiles.
-oled has nothing to do with the size.. but with the contrast ,angle-view , energy consuption
Yes but time and time again, it's been said you CANNOT see OLED screens in sunlight anywhere near as much as TFT LCD, what if your using it for sat nav on a sunny day huh?
-i really hope that we are gonna see a 1500mah.... is the least they need to do!
Meh, maybe, I would settle for a 1200 or 1300, but the processor is supposed to offer VERY good power handling features.

and please SE ... NO delays this time...not a single day!!

Find O N E OFFICIAL article that says that IDOU has EXMOR sensor.... Please..............you love SE but you are not saving them by lying..........

EDIT AGAIN: Just thought I would add the post I am replying to

Exmor CMOS sensor developed and manufactured by Sony:

http://www.sony.net/Products/dslr/a700/features.html

It's for it's DSLR but Exmor would appear to be a SONY registered trademark AND product.

Edit:

Oh and of course we better not forget this:

http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/News/Press/200811/08-144E/index.html

So yeah, your saying that even though Sony has developed it's OWN Exmor branded and trademarked 12.25 mpx CMOS sensor for MOBILE PHONES it's NOT going to use it in it's OWN Sony Ericsson 12.1 mpx camera phone? Possible but lets be honest, considering the facts, highly doubtful.
So yes, just to clarify, Exmor is a SONY registered trademark and product.

HD video recording? Yeah I CAN see the point of that but I'm glad SE have just adopted VGA at last. I think HD will be a couple of years yet eh? But seeing as there is ONE phone on the market that can do it, the camera in Android and iPhones are crap but these phones sell like hot cakes, then I'm not bothered and I doubt SE is either, people don't care about that.

And this bloody God Damn 3.5mm issue. WHO CARES!!! Seriously? HTC force you to use an adapter on all it's phones, SE do, Nokia don't, Samsung don't LG I have no idea. EVERYONE HAS AN IPOD!!!
I mean me personally, I have a PSP and have NEVER used it for music, I haven't used a walkman for ages, I listen to music at home for which I got a radio and computer. The ONLY other place I listen to music is in my car, where I use my iPod and this is the ONLY place i use my iPod. If I used my phone for this I would use A2DP bluetooth and probably find it fiddly? My iPod is much more efficient.

I wasn't talking about the hypothetical 3.5mm headset that would be bundled with the phone but the case when you use any regular 3.5mm stereo headphone.
Since headphones generally lack microphones you have to talk into the phone's mic when making/taking a call.

@se_love. Thanks. Regarding the 3.5mm jack issue. It really isn't a big deal imo. It spoils the design of a phone. Only phone types that can pull it off and look ok are thick candybars (bricks). I remember the P800,P900 and P910 having one and the port had a cover on to hide. Again those phones were quite thick so could carry a 3.5mm lack without it ruining the looks of the phone. Can't remember if i could answer calls via the 3.5mm jack on my P900 though it's been a very long time since i had that phone. It spent more time with SE than me.

apolloa, there are many Nokia and Samsung fans out there who care about the 3.5mm issue. This is just a bad decision by SE that will make Satio less popular than it could have been.
And just like you, some people might also say - "I have a dedicated digital camera, who cares about 12MP camera with Xenon in Satio".

The P800 didn't use a 3.5 mm jack but a 2.5 mm one.

@ardzuna and all other Ferengi: Your comparison with the camera is flaud. I wanna get Satio as I wanna have a touchscreen all in one device with a very good camera. And like most consumers I do not care about what kind of technology is doing the job. Can you not listen to music on Satio cause it lacks 3.5?
So everybody who can only enjoy music via 3.5 or accept only pix from 12.1 Megapixel cams when they wear an Exmor branding simply get another phone. (I feel really sorry for these poor people)
I also prefer the Fast Port compared to Mini USB as I think it is more stable in my car holder but if Satio had Mini USB I am sure I would survive this as well (but would have to buy a new car holder).

@apolloa: Some kind of compass or whatever can be handy otherwise within cities it will be a bit of a problem. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_navigation "... a gyroscope and an accelerometer can be used for greater reliability, as GPS signal loss and/or multipath can occur due to urban canyons or tunnels."

You really have no idea how retarded SE fastports are.
