I understand that a lot of countries feel as they are under occupation because of the US troop presence. I believe US presence in the Middle East is one cause of terrorism.
However, US troops also provide security to unstable regions. The hard part is to find a balance where US troops are only present where they are really needed.
A lot of people are against US role as world police. However, as a super-power they also have the "responsibility" to keep world peace as necessary. To some they might act like the "big dog on the block" but super-powers have always been struggling with that perception.

hmmm... $900million..
Now that May B a looottt off money to all people, but considering the country had its ass blown off, literally, $900mn cant B that much, Afghanistan isnt exactly the size of Luxembourg, Now I kno the USA cant pay 4 EVERYTHING wrong in the world, but considering that the US did bomb Afghanistan, and it was America's war really, shudnt They pay 2 Afghanistan costs of the war?
Or dont they hav to appease ne1 becoz they supposedly freed the afghan people, gave them sum money and then left it to the rest of the countries to handle Peace keeping forces, and providing other services....

For all the Patriots
Stop This War Now!
By Congressman Dennis Kucinich 4-2-3
Dear Friend,
I made the following speech on the floor of the house today. With your support I will continue to lead the way to peace, both in congress and in the presidential campaign. I need your active involvment in my campaign as a volunteer, a contributor or both. Please visit our website
http://www.kucinich.us to help empower this message. Pass this message along to your friends.
"Stop the war now. As Baghdad will be encircled, this is the time to get the UN back in to inspect Baghdad and the rest of Iraq for biological and chemical weapons. Our troops should not have to be the ones who will find out, in combat, whether Iraq has such weapons. Why put our troops at greater risk? We could get the United Nations inspectors back in."
"Stop the war now. Before we send our troops into house-to-house combat in Baghdad, a city of five million people. Before we ask our troops to take up the burden of shooting innocent civilians in the fog of war."
"Stop the war now. This war has been advanced on lie upon lie. Iraq was not responsible for 9/11. Iraq was not responsible for any role al-Qaeda may have had in 9/11. Iraq was not responsible for the anthrax attacks on this country. Iraq did not tried to acquire nuclear weapons technology from Niger. This war is built on falsehood."
"Stop the war now. We are not defending America in Iraq. Iraq did not attack this nation. Iraq has no ability to attack this nation. Each innocent civilian casualty represents a threat to America for years to come and will end up making our nation less safe. The seventy-five billion dollar supplemental needs to be challenged because each dime we spend on this war makes America less safe. Only
international cooperation will help us meet the challenge of terrorism. After 9/11 all Americans remember we had the support and the sympathy of the world. Every nation was ready to be of assistance to the United States in meeting the challenge of terrorism. And yet, with this war, we have squandered the sympathy of the world. We have brought upon this nation the anger of the world. We need the cooperation of the world, to find the terrorists before they come to our shores."
"Stop this war now. Seventy-five billion dollars more for war. Three-quarters of a trillion dollars for tax cuts, but no money for veterans ' benefits. Money for war. No money for health care in America, but money for war. No money for social security, but money for war. We have money to blow up bridges over the Tigris and the Euphrates, but no money to build bridges in our own cities. We have money to ruin the health of the Iraqi children, but no money to repair the health of our own children and our educational programs."
"Stop this war now. It is wrong. It is illegal. It is unjust and it will come to no good for this country."
"Stop this war now. Show our wisdom and our humanity, to be able to stop it, to bring back the United Nations into the process. Rescue this moment. Rescue this nation from a war that is wrong, that is unjust, that is immoral."
"Stop this war now".

" Stop this war "
every night i went to bed
I thought about those poor iraqi People who have been threaten for more than two weeks..
Its really horrible feeling to sleep in a dark city with no electricity
no water
no saftey
And with the sounds of the missiles explosions and guns shots day and night
A lot of questions Iraqi people will think about…
What is their fault ??
Will they be alive next day ??
And if they are lucky to be alive …
Are they going to lose one of their family or one of their close friends life ??
Are they going to be homeless next day ???
Could someone stop this war ??
Or when this war will end??
A lot of questions in their mind they need to have answers for it …..
and the only thing they want and they wish is to :
STOP THIS WAR

No WMD's have actually bin found. Nor has Saddam H. been found. The two 'main goals' when this war started have not yet bin achieved... Yet the oil is already sold????
I must be missin' something here, but you all godda admit that is fishy!
As for Iraqi's willing to risk their lives to topple Saddam......they tried that 10 years ago and they did die...Remember?? Now I don't blame 'em if they are not anxious to put themsleves out there...
1st wait and see if Saddam can indeed be captured or killed.
