dont know if someones already mentioned this (this thread is just WAY too long to read all the way through), but I use a Trinity case from off Ebay, and its great, and with NO CHANCE of the damage being discussed.

Yupp... mine has started to crack too in exactly the same place. Started on the left and now the right side is almost falling off.
Ordered a new front - lets hope I can change it without too much troubles

My P900 now got the crack aswell, on the LEFT side.
Vodafone (Sweden) said there was no more warranty (€600 phone!) so I am returning it to SE under swedish law about products with built in faults.

I have now joined this club of cracked P900 cases...
After buying the phone used for half a year and myself using it every day for about 2 years I just discovered this morning, that my P900 has this crack in the left side of the case close to the screen...
I have been careful all the time not to smack down the flip, so it must have happened while I had in my pocket and it maybe got at little pressure...
The only solution as I see it is to buy the P990 and I'm sure my wife will understand this perfectly
