I'm in the U.S. and my company's corporate server uses GroupWise. What I have been told my my IT department is that yes, using Blackberry connect, Blackberry is now supporting the p910a. Unfortunately, however, it does not support GroupWise (Novell). Does anyone know when GroupWise will be supported? Is Groupwise a common enough system that they will even develop support for it?

I doubt anytime soon. A lot of corporate American companies our encouraged to implement the applications that are commonly used in the industry. So I don't imagine RIM seeing much capital in developing software to work with a dark horse at the moment. Profit comes before inovation for most companies.

Hello, can someone help me please?

As explained by bigfeat and tankee, I have downloaded and installed the BB client to my 910i. We use BB Enterprise Server at the back-end with Exchange. The phone registered with the server and I had connection and services over the docking station. But when I try to connect via GPRS - which is available - BB client hangs with the "APN Connected" and I cannot get a "Connected" stated.

Can someone please tell me the parameters and advanced in your "Internet Accounts"-->"BES Blackberry.net" on the Control Panel like Address,Login,Proxy etc.?

Many thanks

I have just one quick question to BigFeat:
I have installed the BB Desktop tool,
however I can't seem to figure out how to install the .sis file. It just keeps saying Unpacker 1.00 version installation and consequently I can't find no BlackBerry software con in the phone menu...

gentlemen,

i am still struggling with getting this working on my SE. I believe the problem is at the BES end of my service. Can someone tell me (and my server admin) exactly what we need to do to get this thing working.

My line is fully GPRS enabled, my PIN code is switched on at the BES, but it just locks up on the handheld when it is downloading the IT policy. It showed the current date as last update but I still can't connect. Tried the provisioning routine on the handheld and that is also drawing a blank.

Pls help, I do not want to resort to using a crappy BB handheld. I have one sitting on my desk in the box but if I cant get my p910 working i may have to take it out...

Going Insane..

I did not have to set anything different on the BES.

I was using the same sim card on 7100g prior to P910i. Only thing I did was to install the desktop manager that came with P910i to link it to BES.

The only info your IT admin needs is your PIN and IMEI. They should set you up as they do with all other members. The desktop software really doesn't require much tweaking at all. Verify that they have your PIN configured correctly as well.
