Installed the application and found already some major bugs in the
software. Call POI and navigate to address has some major bugs in
it.

That is the cardreader! You need to use the cardreader to install
the correct maps and application.

I've been playing with the demo version of Wayfinder for the p910i and found it really rather slow for anything I wanted to do.

What is the speed of route 66 like?

I have worked with all packages available and I must say that Route66
is OK relating to speed. I have not yet driven with it. Wayfinder is
rather slow when rerouting and it took me 5 minutes before I even had
a route. TomTom is the fastest of the all, but that package is not
available yet.

Okay it also works on my own 256MB MSD pro card.

So you can put it there!

I tried it on my p900 but the program was already registered on my p910.
