So why have they posted the firmware under the k750i menu saying that you can use the original cable?

So the save the credit and wait for RED firmware!

They left the brown Firmware up there for those who have the propper cable to flash the phone using the brown firmware.

you can flash brown firmware using DCU-60, if you have a BROWN (developer) phone. If you want to flash brown firmware to red phone you need a different cable.

For nothing ? well then its your own fault, cause this has been explained and debated over and over again in many threads. And Davince doesnt say anywhere on their site that you can flash w800 firmware on k750 using DCU-60, in fact they explain several places on their site that you cannot.

Well it looks like the Davinci team is close to getting the RED firmware out. I don't think it will be a long wait before SE will release the RED firmware if they have released the BROWN one.

I think R1K is the newer version, as with the k750i R1J the W800i R1j had problems with o2 GPRS.

I converted the K750i to a W800i R1K, but when i take a picture there is no camera shoot sound and the autofocus sound. How do i get them back ? I never took them off.
