@ jmcomms - i hear all your views and agree with some of them. The difference is with me im far more willing to live with the current issues with Symbian's touch version of S60. Im guessing you've been using other devices such as the iPhone and possibly gotten used to things working much more smoothly.
Personally after four days of owning the Satio im growing to like it more each day. My main issues still remain (buggy software, silly things you cannot do when normally on a S60 phone you can, lack of stereo speakers, poor loudspeaker volume, truely awful standy themes forcing you to use SE's own etc) but im starting to understand where S60 touch fails it excels in other areas. Ive just been playing around with the Google maps app which i like very much (couldnt find street view though!) and Wisepilot is very good too. The speed in which both apps work is impressive if like me you've used a directional control pad such as the one on my N95 to view maps before. They're much much more smooth and zooming in and out is a doddle. Im even thinking of investing in Wisepilot if its a decent satnav.
Ive just been using the built in web browser. Personally i like it. The lack of hardware number keys means i dont have the luxury of shortcut buttons for back, page overview etc.. but the extra screen size and more fluid control over the web page has won me over. Sure it might be clunky and hard to use compared to other phones such as the iPhone, but its more than acceptable for me. I might give Opera Mini a go though see how it gets on.
Which brings me to my final point. If the user doesnt like what the Satio can do by default im pretty sure an app will be just around the corner to enhance it. Im happy with the Satio, its not perfect but then no phone ive ever owned has come close to being perfect. But its another step in the right direction.

And no RDS radio i can live without it but it seens that every phone have it..

Theres a few phones these days do not have RDS, even if they do have a radio function. Its a bit like IR ports, some people cannot live without them and really its something you think every phone would have as standard but they're slowly being left out of most new handsets released these days.
As for viewing geotagged images on a map.. on the phone, i never did that anyway on my old S60 handsets as AFAIK you couldnt do it, so again another feature i dont miss because i never had it - unless i uploaded pictures to google or Flickr and then browsed them.

Is rds hardware ore can the phone get rds with a upgrade?

Its a hardware thing AFAIK. I think RDS is a nice feature if you're a heavy radio listener. But im not, so i have no use for the radio at all.

The RDS was a nice feature on the Nokia 5530xm Symbian phone. The text and station name would scroll across the screen in all directions in a very cool funky fashion which looked really good. Nice eye candy. Whats the eye candy like on the Satio? Not that its important i just wondered.

Cheers for that, but even though SF has listed it for ALL Symbian devices, it actually takes you to the Ovi store and then it turns out to be only for Nokia devices.
Doesn't this just go to show how pathetic Symbian is? Even THEY think apps run on all devices, while many things are Nokia-only!
So, to save people the time and effort, it won't run on the Satio (or indeed the Samsung I8910 HD/Omnia HD).
(For what it's worth, the Nokia FB app is different to the one shown running on the Satio - although I'm not sure which one was more advanced).
