A question for old s60 users: Every time I connect to a random Wi-Fi hotspot (like for example when I'm outside) it saves the access point. I don't want all access points I connect to saved and it bothers me having to delete them from destinations afterwards. Is there any way to disable auto-saving of access points or to prompt me if I want to save it or not?

Just a question. If I am browsing the internet and want to enter an address I activate the on screen qwerty. If I change my mind how do I cancel the qwerty and get back to the internet?
Thanks.

There is no cancel option. You simply press the green tick and THEN you can cancel. It's not very intuitive at all is it!
S60v5 is full of things like this. The Wi-Fi problem mentioned above is another, as is the fact that it won't always find a Wi-Fi connection without rebooting the phone. I've had my phone fail to see ANY wireless hotspots when scanning until a reboot.
Has anyone else also found that sometimes the fourth panel (or the one immediately to the right of the home screen panel) sometimes fails to show thumbnails for images? It will just show a 'recycling' style image for everything - and, again, you'll need to reboot.
Oh, and last night I was on a rail replacement bus at midnight and despite showing the BT logo in the status bar and the arrows to show a connection, it decided half way through an episode of South Park to switch to the internal speaker and blast out to everyone on board trying to sleep. I had to turn off the headset and back on to get it to re-pair. Most embarrassing and annoying!
I went to Nokia's Forum Nokia pre-SEE meet-up last night at their Regent Street store, and it's shocking how many people are still saying Symbian will do well. They showed a preview of the next version of the OS (which I sadly missed) but it's NO good showing off something that is a year or so away.
S60v5 needs a major facelift and NOW. It needs to be given to ALL Symbian licensees - not just Nokia - and every manufacturer needs to give it as a free update, not try and get people to buy a new device. While S60v5 is tolerable, the fact is it will put many other people off for life (and already has, if you consider how many people have ditched it for Android or something else).
And the rumours that Nokia will ditch Symbian completely are still circulating, even on the low-mid range devices, which makes me wonder what will happen to the company. I mean, if Nokia owns it then what do they intend to do with it? Folding it would be stupid, but who would buy it?

Can Satio be easily debranded and unlocked? I'm seriously considering taking the upgrade '3' are offering me on my second contract. If it's not easy to do then I'll cancel that contract and just use my Aino.

Some cutting but i agree with youre whole post!
I came from a200 from sony but what a mess is s60.. I thought Nokia was a big brand but i don't understand how they could use s60 on so much phone's.. For non touchscreen i could be good ? i dont know..
There is no line in the interface, menu-refreshing like windows 98 (part for part) no auto rotation of keyboard, and i can go on. I can write an artical like "100 thing i hate about s60" ..
I've using a 3 years old LG viewty and the interface looks more modern and better then this.. AND ITS LG with one of the first touchscreen os..!!!
I hope the satio can use some other os in the future (maybe Android?) or is that a to baeutifull dream?
I like the Satio for the rest btw
