I'm using a P990 for personal purposes, although there is a P1 around as well. The reason is personal: I prefer the touch-style over the softkey-style, don't like the pull-up More menu, the lack of button bar, and so on. The P990 works well with conscious memory management.

i have been using p990 for 1 year now. the RAM issue was not severe in early days.but after installing seven, web browsing and other working have become very difficult cause seven itself take abt 7 mb RAM.what abt u guys? can u use seven and other apps too in the same time?

I very disapointed with P990i now. too little memory for apps, and no firmware update now(chinese,SGP).

if SE can extend memory with virutual memory on MS card, I would be happy to keepit.
now, the only thing left to P990i is: ON SALE

I'm content with my P990. "Content" is the key word here not satisfied or happy.
Could have been much better and some functionalities such as RDS still don't work properly but when used with SMP and LB, it's quite stable.
Same as @ZED, I prefer P990 over P1 for personal reasons including bigger screen, keyboard and lens cover and most important - the flip
