actually, don sa nag sabi na aakyat ka pa sa blah blah at itapat sa araw para makakuha ng signal, "sun" is operating in higher frequency, higher than those of globe and smart, so they need not much cellsites to cover the whole country unlike globe and smart. sun currently has 500 cellsites and they're increasing that number to a thousand this year, well, as far as i know.. Digitel is a good reputable telecom company, their services match those of smart's and globe's or even outdo them.

Sun cellular is currently interconnected to Globe, (voice calls only[currently]), and interconnection of SMS is ongoing, they're arranging with smart for interconnections of calls and sms, so by the 3rd or 4th quarter of the year, you can enjoy the affordable service rates of "sun cellular". PERO, kapag naka bili na ng 3G license ang Globe and Smart, baka mahirapang makahabol ang Sun... well, para sakin, Sun is 'promising'. Tingnan na lang natin kapag they're fully operational, let's avoid too much speculations. let's give the network a chance, but opinions and arguments are definitely respected and expected...

FYI: smart has the most number of cellsites, as far as i know, they have 2800 cellsites nationwide, in comparison to sun, sun has only 500, but they'd increase it to a thousand this year, besides, as i said, they're cellsites are operating in higher frequency, so they'd cover larger areas.
