i don't think blu-ray has anything to do with the 3-d rendering.
i think in general there is little to separate the two platforms graphically at the moment, but then i'm a cynical SOB and i also don't think we have seen any "real" in game footage yet from PS3. when somebody gets their hands on an actual playable demo i'll start to get interested, but these movies don't convince me of anything (for either platform).

Yea.. its just the Huge amount of data it can hold in the Blue-Ray comapred to dual-layed DVD...More data more detail... vice versa..
