Chaps, you can bash Eldar as much as you like. The fact of the matter remains: SE is basically on 'life support'. Ericsson is not interested anymore and Sony are having their own troubles ! In a few weeks, SE will release the 2Q financial results and take it from me: that's ways more important than what Eldar says. Actually is even more important then the Aino's release date ! Forget about Nokia and s60 for now. You chaps are like the Titanic passagers: while the ship is sinking you are arguing which boat is fastest in the world at that time

To talk about Nokia/s60 and SE in the same sentence, is like talking about a sick and skinny donkey pulling a cart and a f1 car powered by mercedes benz. For God's sake, if you really want to help, give the donkey some watter and forget about the f1 car for now.
well

at least I am giving a lot.... in a very unconventional way

.... HEHEHE...can't reveal it.

I guess whether this sinking boat is going to impress us again is not an immediate event.
I recall SE took almost 2yrs to come out with T610.
I am not surprise we have to see a sad scene on q2. the key is to see whether they make progress every quarter.

@C96... Yeah bud, I think along the exactly same line. After huge cuts all over, it looks like the 'fall' has been softened a lot. Now that SE has a s60 cell in the making, I would like to see NO FALL at all ! Eldar has his obvious nutty moments but certainly, at least some of his comments are ok. I remember, SE used to be a example in quality, unfortunately, after many 'quiet' staff cuts, SE has a reputation of building cell's which even the chinese don't want to use

They better don't f***k-up their only s60 model in the works. If you think I am anti SE now, you haven't seen anything yet

Anyone who has a dozen odd brain cells to spare knows all about SE's situation. This thread is not about that. This is about the blatant lies Eldar is spreading in an attempt to tarnish SE. Go back a couple of pages and see some examples listed.
The donkey is in charge of people who know how to do business better than you, me and Eldar combined (And they're taking the right steps now). It'll survive.

SE's decline speaks for itself simply by observing its downward spiral in terms of market position and sales figures, funny how people try and deflect from the basic stats by launching petty, childish attacks on individuals, though with some people in this thread that is all they ever post!!

Well SE doesn't expect the market to recover till the final quarter anyway (I think read somewhere that the global handset market fell 10% in the 1st quarter alone) so its still going to be a tough year regardless of what anyone bemoans.
