Mark : Does that mean a problem-free T610 will have no sound at all when doing Microphone test? Gook post said there's background noise.

Now.. in my case, the sound is there even if I cover the mic with my fingers (thereby cutting out the background ). Is this right?

I went the shop metalflux bought his set. Okay, price is right... rm1600. BUT, the distributor for the set is SBS or BSB... something like that. I thought the warranty card suppose to be issued by T-Choice??? The sales man keep saying it is NOT a company warranty set, but I just don't believe it. 2nd time went Sg. Wang today, failed to buy one.
What I notice is most of the shops are selling 3w23 set, only found one shop is still selling the 3w20. BTW, according to them, T-Choice is out of stock for T610.

Look on the bright side, at least you know when you buy the phone its going to be PERFECT.
I've pretty much given up looking for T610 right now...like I said in the previous page, T-choice is out of stock and they won't be getting new stock till next week or the week after that. Guess just have to wait. I wouldn't recommend buying imported sets, I don't know if its covered by Ericserve.

i tested the microphone loop thinggy ..and NO ..i dun have any SOUND at all ..when i cover the MIC with my hands ..properly .. Total silence.
but on second thought ... there's still a little .. audible diffrents compared to ..total silence (as in .. disabling the test) .. but not much .. i think is just due to the ur finger ..or something .. well .. just imagine holding up a mic .. and covering it with ur hand .. compared to ..offing the mic totaly .. get it ? ...
and .. err ..
my set from action tele.. has warrenty issused by T choice
.. cheers .... i guess i was lucky coz . i got the last 2 sets or something
..
oh yar .. dun trust imported sets ..ehehe u will get ripped off .

as for my case, i still havent got my replacement yet from Ericserve. i did call Jeff last week, he told me that it's still out of stock. even in SE Singapore. have to get it from sweden. ??? why sweden??? still dont know how long do i hav to wait??? kinda like give up hope liao...
surely envy all the problem free T610 out there....

Its pathetic isn't it? Early adopters have to live with a defective set. I was thinking about getting the P810 after seeing the pics. Now I have to think really carefully. Should I even bother with SE phones anymore?
