@ mario

The fact that your phone can't do that, sadly has nothing to do with the phone, it is all down to restrictions from your network provider. Some networks have more or less than 100kb

ok got some news thru a source i dunno its the fact or no

first the p1000 will not be launched before nov-dec

second is the design of the p1000 : the theme of P series design will the same it means the flip and the big screen the changes what i have heard is its going to be thin lenght wise and a new shape as its p1000

thirdly the guy says the specs dat wat interent rumours have said it shud be that ( UIQ3.0/3G UTMS/WI-FI) this shud be there.

and ya forgot to say the design is not going to be lyke a candy bar or lyke blackberry or treo the theme of P series will remain ( m very very happy abt it )

and when i asked him about the windows mobile he will make it sure on monday cause on saturday and sunday the SE center is closed and what above he has told dats wat he has been told by some SE official guy now i can garuntee this is the truth but i can say...he must be right as i know dis guy from many years..and can say this can be the fact

That seems to confirm what VinnylP! has seen:

"I saw someone [...] with a SE phone like the P910 but wider and thinner.
It had the same flip over the screen design (slightly bigger) and qwerty keyboard inside, but a bigger screen. Unfortunately it was wider So more like an XDA size. [...]"

Seems to me SE is already testing the new toy on the real world !

AFAIK, its made by SE FOR Lenovo.

Just like SE make phones for DoComO.

Its also S60, which is why it'll run S60 apps Mario. S60 is inferior to UIQ IMO.
