It does seem to be a hardware fault, and SE should recall these phones but they won't unless loads of people complain.

If I am not wrong it only affects blank images. Hard or can't be spotted if you are shooting at scenery rather than blank walls.

mmm i've seen pictures of scenery with the green tint on them. I think it's present on every picture, its' just more visible on pictures of monochrome objects.

So if its a harware issue does that mean that all newly produced P1's wont have the problem?

well my phone was branded on o2 uk and i didnt seem to notice any green tint but when i debranded to world generic 1 i now seem to have the green tint!!


so i think its a firmware issue

As i said i am not certain on it, and i dont have time to read things over and find the correct link. But i dont remember seeing anything regarding a submission.
